Description

A bike ride/push or a hike to the top of the Cornwall Hills.

  • meet at Aberdeen Mall at 9:00 am
  • carpool; riders will pay $10-$15, depending on the number of passengers
  • drive to Cache Creek, then south on Highway 1 and up the Hat Creek FSR (11km) and park at the Cornwall Hills FSR junction
  • bike and bike push to the top, or walk the rough,  steep FSR to the top and back (7km each way)
  • stop at the Three Sisters pictographs site too (on the way back)
  • riders and hikers will be two separate groups
  • dress for the conditions; carry extra water

Just a quick update for all our members We have been experiencing some recent issues with the Kamloops hiking club website, the website team and board are very aware of the frustration that everyone is experiencing. We are also having some issues with posting, signing up and cancelling for individual events. A good website helps enable leaders and hikers to coordinate events. Greetings all and welcome to a new club year! Board Updates Board Meeting was held on February 19, 2024.  The minutes are posted on the website under Club Info/Meeting Minutes page. 2024/2025 Membership Registration is currently underway.  Membership Renewals started February 1st and new membership started on March 1st.
