Description
A downriver paddle
- a shuttle system to be organized to get paddlers back to their vehicles
- please comment to the event listing in the last 4 days so we can see what plans you have made
- launch at the hand launch area on Harrington Road (carry your boat down the ramp to the beach)
- land at McArthur Island boat launch/landing area
- easy paddling down the North Thompson River
- some swirly water/waves under the three bridges so we will steer into the channels
- some knowledge of self-rescue is required
- all safety gear is needed
- dress for the conditions
- 3rd in the Downriver Paddling Series (link to more info) and the easiest of the series
