Description

Cecil cabin

Coffey’s cabin

With more snow in the forcast, we are anticipating good early season conditions for snowshoeing.
Join us on one of “our” favorite snowshoe tracks in the area. It will be an all day event with the travel time to and from Kamloops. The group will meet at the Shopper’s parking lot to arrange carpooling stopping at the Chase Petro Can to meet John and Carole. We will stop at Barley’s for dinner in Salmon Arm, consider this when arranging car pooling. Bring your poles, camera, lots of food and water. We snowshoe past the picturesque winter pond, continue along the trail to the shelter at the Hub for lunch. If the conditions are good we’ll continue up Coffey’s climb to the cabin for another snack break. This is quite a long event with some elevation gain to get to the cabin. We could be breaking trail as it is early in the season.DSCN8841
