Description

Bring snowshoes, hiking poles, headlamp, hydration, 10 essentials, and snacks.  We will stop for a brief lunch. Dress in layers because it can become chilly or cold fast when we stop for a break.

Terrain: depending on snowfall we may have to break some trail, otherwise the trail is defined.  This snowshoe does include some elevation gain. We will be out for approximately 3hrs at an easy-moderate pace.  We will be hiking through mostly forest and some open field.

We will meet at the cattle guard in Bachelor heights for carpooling.  Parking space is limited at McQueen Lake. Please bring some cash for your drivers.

Dogs: I will most likely have my dog Havana join us (German Sheppard) there is room for 2 more dogs.  Please comment below if you will be bringing your furry friend.

Arrive at the meeting place at least 10 minutes before the stated departure time to give yourself enough time to arrange to carpool (if necessary), receive information,  and meet the other members of the group.

If a booking has to be cancelled, please do so as early as possible and no later than 1 hour before the meet-up time.  Cancellations are done by going to the Your Bookings Page on the menu bar, not by commenting on an event.
