Description
A paddle from Savona to Painted Bluffs and back
- anyone who paddles on Kamloops Lake needs a seaworthy boat, paddling experience and skills, and all required safety gear
- participants can make their own arrangements for carpooling since transportation of boats is required
- we will meet near the launch area (see the micro map below)
- launch and paddle together for safety
- paddle to the beach at Painted Bluffs (6 km)
- short walk/hike into the Park (very scenic)
- lunch on the beach
- paddle back – if the winds come up we will detour west to go around the bay back to our launch area (adds some distance)

- Plan B – if windy – launch at Tobiano and paddle the shoreline east or west (watch the listing for updates)
