We will hike the 16km loop along the river and forested trails passing some lovely beaches and river views.   All good gravelled trails; no off trail although a couple of rocky sections.  We will start at the main parking area, and then follow the Wade Road trails for a loop around following the river and canyon.  Bring lunch and snacks with you; there are no water spots on the way.

We will meet at Valleyview Princess Auto meet up spot to leave at 0900.   Please pay $10/15 to your driver (depending on how many in the car) if you choose to car pool.

Dogs are welcome, but they have to be on leash as it is a provincial park.

I have been retired for several years now and enjoy many activities in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, skiing, backpacking. I have lived in Canada for the last 35 years and spent a great deal of time exploring the Rockies, K-country, Kootenays and parts of BC.

I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
