Come enjoy a day of snowshoeing on the Sovereign Lakes Snowshoeing Trails near Vernon.
This event will be a great opportunity for new members to join in on a favorite snowshoe trail outside of our area.
•This is a moderate to harder trail over approximately 10 km.
Note, some trails may not have been used and will require us to break trail.
•We will make our way to the Black Prince Cabin for lunch.
•Approximately 4-5 hours on the trail including lunch
•Meet at Market Fresh at 8:30 am
Some may wish to stop for coffee and snack in Vernon on the return, take this into consideration when carpooling.
•approx. 1 hr 45 minutes drive to the Sovereign Lakes Nordic Centre
•Snowshoe pass is $10 for adults and $9 for seniors
•$10 for drivers if you choose to carpool
•Bring all your snowshoeing essentials, water and lunch.
•Dress for the conditions
