- Come join us for this unique tour and hike.
- Tibetan Monks believe a specific area near Vidette Lake is the “Center of the Universe”.
- The Vidette Lake property owner runs a spiritual retreat and tours to the “Centre of the Universe.
http://www.videttelake.com/vidette-lake-retreat/ - This event will include a short hike and tour to the “Centre of the Universe”. Many find this a very spiritual place. Some choose to hike it in bare feet.
- After the approximately 1 hour tour, we will hike to Deadman Falls. This is a 10 km round trip from the lodge.
- Lunch around 1pm at the falls.
- $20 tour fee per person. This is reduced to a group rate of $15 dollars if we have more than 8 attending. Payment in cash on the tour day.
- Meet at Aberdeen meet up at 8 am
- $10 for drivers if you choose to carpool depending on hour many in a vehicle.
- 2 hour drive to Vidette Lake
- Bring all your hiking essentials, plenty of water, lunch, snacks, and a camera!
