Δ 2015 Peaks Series
* Yes, we are going to climb/hike to the top of the large granite mountain on the Coquhalla.
* You will be amazed by the view from the summit of Yak Peak
* We will meet at 7:00 at Aberdeen Mall on Saturday, Aug. 08 to arrange carpooling.
* Allow for $10 – $15 for carpooling (depending on numbers)
* This is a steep, steep hike following the edge of the large granite slab.
* Participants need have good stamina and endurance to complete this hike.
* We will remain as a group and have lunch at the summit.
* This is backcountry, the TEN Essentials are very important.
* Poles are recommended, the trail is very steep up and down.
* The leader reserves the right to review all participants’ abilities.
* We can stop in Merritt for refreshments on the way home.
