Description
An amazing view from the summit of Yak Peak
We will meet at 7:00 at Aberdeen Mall on Saturday, Sept 13 to arrange carpooling.
The trailhead is from the brake check on the Coquhalla before the snowshed.
This is a steep, steep hike following the edge of the large granit slab.
Participants need have good stamina and endurance to complete this hike.
We will remain as a group and have lunch at the summit.
Bring good hiking boots, lunch, plenty of water and your camera, the views are great!

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
