Description
This is one of the most popular hikes in the high divide area of the Coquihalla Highway. It has an easy grade, light bush and grand views. The peak is named after an animal indigenous to the alpine regions of central Asia. The zoa is a member of the yak family.
It is a round trip of 11 km with an elevation gain of 2090 ft at an average grade of 11.5%. The fall colors should be in full bloom at this time of year. A steady climb so core fitness required for this hike.
We will meet at Aberdeen Mall meet up spot at 0830 to carpool to the trailhead. Be prepared to pay your driver $15 if you choose to car pool.
