A mountain bike on the Goose Lake Road

  • an early ride on the first day of spring
  • the start of the Goose Lake Road (click the location link for the exact spot) to Goose Lake and back – 14 km

  • Goose Lake is a good gravel road – suitable for most bikes
  • A steady pace, not a fast one, but there are some good hills from the creek crossing up to the lake
  • this will be a group ride so participants are expected to stay in touch with the group
  • helmets required; bring a repair kit for punctured tires
  • dress for the conditions (esp. if it is cool)
  • a short stop at Goose Lake for a refreshment and snack before heading back
