Description
A last minute additional hike for this Saturday.
As I have only been on these trails once, it will be an EXPLORATORY HIKE, going at an easy pace. I’ve estimated 8 to 10 km, but it could be more or less. We will explore the Upper Flumes Trail, stopping for lunch along the way. Once we return to our cars, we will have the option of exploring the Lower Flumes Trails that are across the road. This will be dependent on how long we are on the trail and how the group feels.
Meet at Market Fresh Foods for 9 am, leaving by 9:15 am. About 1 hour drive to the trailhead. Approx $5 to $10 for carpooling depending on the number of passengers.
I’m not sure on the dog policy for these trails so I’m going to say no dogs on this one.
Be sure to bring lunch, water and dress for the weather.
