Description
We will hike to the lookout at the top of Buse Mountain, approx. 1 1/2 kms uphill. This lookout is above Barnhartvale Road, with views of Kamloops to Chase and beyond. On the way back down we will take a side trail that leads to the pinnacle where we will stop for lunch. Depending on the route we take there could be some off trail sections.
It is a fairly steep, double track trail to the top. We will be taking our time, going at a slower pace, with breaks.
Meet at Market Fresh Foods in Dallas for 9:30am, leaving by 9:45 am.
Bring lunch, water, bug spray, sunscreen and dress for the weather.
4 dogs maximum, please comment if you are bringing your dog. Please bring a leash as there are steep cliffs at the top.
