Description
We will snowshoe across Campbell Lake in Barnhartvale over to Scuitto Lake, returning along the same route. I know this area very well, but it will be the first time I have snowshoed it, distances are approximate.
The route is fairly flat, but we will be stomping our own trail so I’m rating this as a moderate/harder trail. Approx 8 km.
Meet at 10:15 at Market Fresh Foods in Dallas, leaving by 10:30. We should be on the trail by 11 am. We will snowshoe for 3 to 4 hours, stopping for lunch along the way.
Bring water, lunch and dress for the weather.
Dogs will be allowed, but keep in mind that the snow may be very deep for them. 4 dogs max, 1 dog per member. Please comment if you are bringing your dog.
Dog owners please watch that your dog does not step on other peoples snowshoes.
