This is a fully catered, guided, horse supported, fly in fly out hiking trip in the remote Charlotte Alplands in the Chilkootins.   We fly in from Nimpo Lake to a horse camp then are guided for a few days, then hike to another camp for more hikes.   Luggage will be taken by horseback and all meals are catered.   Cost is $1300 plus taxes per person, and a 50% deposit is required on booking.   We will spend one night before the fly in date of August 20th at or around Nimpo Lake;  drivetime from Kamloops some 7 hours.   On fly out day of 27th August we plan to drive home to Kamloops.

Hiking will be off trail, remote and full days.  Accommodations are in two person canvas tent, or cabins; showers available at camps; full list of equipment needed is available on booking.  Please contact the leader for information on the outfitters, deposit, etc.  There is space for 4 more participants only.   Carpooling will be arranged closer to the date.

I have been retired for several years now and enjoy many activities in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, skiing, backpacking. I have lived in Canada for the last 35 years and spent a great deal of time exploring the Rockies, K-country, Kootenays and parts of BC.

I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
