Description

Join Carole and John for a snowshoe adventure at Larch Hills.

We will be snowshoeing to “Cec’s Cabin” following the trail on “Coffey’s Climb”, this is described as (our most challenging snowshoe trail)by the Shuswap Trail Alliance website, it is an additional 3.2 km each way gaining 219 meters in elevation from the “South Hub” which is our normal lunch stop. The trail to this cabin has been named in memory of a long time leader and man who contributed greatly to the development of many trails system in the area with the Shuswap Trail Alliance. A perfect way to give Thanks for all his hard work in establishing so many trails for all of us to enjoy.

– This snowshoe adventure also promises to provide you with a winter wonderland scenery especially if fresh snow has fallen, the trees are usually covered in a thick blanket of snow which makes the scenery breathtaking as you walk through the forested area.
