We are unable to attend the planned outings in October, so are posting one that fits our schedule. • Come join us for one of our club’s favourite hikes in the autumn.
• 4.5 hours on the trail including a lunch break half way
• 14 km moderate hike mostly downhill except for 1 big hill 3 hours into the hike
• Meet at the new Ida Lane parking area below the beginning of the Deep Lake trailhead at 9:45 am.
• Some cars will be left at the Deep Lake end and some will transport people to the McQueen Lake trailhead. Please remember to take this into account when carpooling from one end to the next if you have furry friends who will also need transport back and forth.
• Remember to bring your hiking essentials, lunch and water and of course your camera.
• We should be off the trail between 2:30 and 3 pm.
• Dogs are welcome but must be leashed. There is a 4 dog policy, so please comment below if you wish for your dog to attend.
