Description
We will take a few hours to wander the hills and ridges around Deep Lake and enjoy the extensive views of the Yellowhead Valley. It could be warm, and bugs could be out. Bring plenty of water and snacks and lunch to enjoy at our turnaround point. A steady paced hike in the hills with a lunch break at the viewpoint and an off trail route so you need to be able to keep up with the group.
We will meet at Coopers at Westsyde at 0900 to make the short carpool up to the limited parking spaces at Ida Lane.
I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
