Description

Gyration: to move in a circle or spiral back to where you started from

Due to the seasonal weather changes at this time, all hikes will be flexible, and will be based on time, distance and level of difficulty decided that day.  I will post a meet-up location and time and we’ll decide where we want to be for the next 4 to 5 hours (more or less).

As Stuart McLean said “your story (hike) will have to be true, entertaining and enjoyable”. So expect that we won’t be staying on trails, we may “go where no man has gone before”, and it will not be a walk in the park. Solid average fitness level is expected. For the most part these hikes will be less strenuous than Paul’s TRAMPS R US and harder than Michelle’s WANDERWEG.

Be prepared for a good, fun filled, physical outing.

Today’s gyration: Goose Lake Road is an area of rolling hills with  excellent views of the Thompson Valley from the south. Almost all snow shoeing will be off trail.
