Description

This is a beautiful relatively easy undulating trail through some superb alpine meadows.   The trail starts at the top of the Meadows In the Sky parkway at Revelstoke.   It is quite possible that this trail will still be snowed in at this time of year so could get cancelled closer to the date.   If it runs there could be lingering snow patches, and muddy melt areas.   Bugs will also probably be out.

The hike is 20 km long with an elevation of 554 metres to the Jade Lakes lookout.   This distance includes side trips to Eva and Miller lakes.   If you choose to bring pooch they will have to be on leash for the outing.

If there is any interest to do so we could camp the night before at Blanket Creek campground just south of Revelstoke to avoid the early start from Kamloops.

**We will meet to leave Valleyview arena at 0630 and if you choose to carpool please be prepared to pay your driver $20.   This could be a late finish back in Kamloops as it is a couple of hours of driving each way so if you have to be back at a certain time into Kamloops this may not be the outing for you as I cannot predict what time we will be back.
