Description

Come out and discover the beauty of our local parks and trails.   Kenna Cartwright Park has many kms of trails with varied scenery and is a gem in our own backyard.

We will meet at Home Depot parking area and hike some 10-12 Km on the hillier sections of Kenna Cartwright Park.   Could be muddy so bring hiking poles for support.  Good views and good trails.   I am planning some of the hilly routes so be prepared for a bit of a work out.  Timing is very approximate as there are many options on this hike; if the weather is good we will go for longer so bring plenty of snacks, food, and drinks.   We could be out for 4 hours.   We will hike at a steady pace but will allow for snack/breather breaks.

Coffee afterwards  will be at the local Starbucks or Blends – you may even have earned yourself a treat.

This hike is dog friendly (off leash area) so bring your furry friends; maybe bring some water and treats for them for our break times.
