Description
A mountain bike route in the Lac du Bois Grasslands
- meet at the meet-up spot at Batchelor Hills to organize rides/bikes
- drop off one vehicle near Batchelor Lake and then drive the rest to the trailhead at McQueen Lake
- Route – McQueen Lake > Isobel Lake Road > FSR down to McQueen Creek > Long Lake Road > end of the Long Lake corridor and up to the Long Lake-McQueen Creek connector road > side track over to Batchelor Lake (a vehicle will shuttle the drivers back from there)
- bike for about 22 km hours (3 hours?)
- lunch along the way at a viewpoint
- dress for the conditions
- a group bike at a moderate pace; please stay in touch with the group on the route
- bring a spare tyre and a repair kit
