Description
Dress for winter conditions
If it appears that the hike to the top is not a good idea, we have several excellent lower hikes to consider.

All my posted hikes will have a backup plan so if conditions are sketchy, we will still have a good “walk-in-the-woods”. As winter is almost upon us, dress for the cold and wet. I keep a small back-pack in the car with a change of dry clothes.

I’m a long time resident of Kamloops who has always enjoyed the outdoors. My hikes will leave earlier and return later as I would like to enjoy the scenery and explore more especially when we have reached the summit. My hiking pace may be a little slower than normal with a strong stamina requirement. Photography is my hobby and trail breaks to set up for that “special picture” may happen.
