Description
An off-trail scrambling route through a side canyon, up steep slopes, across sidehill traverses and up a series of hills and ridges to the base of the final cliffs, then a traverse to the west to find a scramble to the top. The return route will follow the main trail down the mountain.
- this route is only suitable for hikers who enjoy scrambling and have some of those skills
- very scenic and interesting
- lunch at the top
- good boots and poles required
- I will bring a rope, just in case
- no dogs or minors for this event (with good reason)
- tick season
- dress for the conditions
- meet at Brock Shop to carpool ($2)
