A hike over rough terrain with a complicated and demanding route (Mara NE > Mara Summit > West Mara track > Massey Lake > Wheeler track > Wheeler lookout > Wheeler-Pruden Pass track > Harris Homestead> Pruden Pass)

• meet at the Pruden Pass Road junction to convoy in to the trailhead (rough road)
• hike up the Mara NE route to the front summit (snack break)
• article – Mara NE
• article – Damgaard Homestead
• hike down the Mara West route to Massey Lake and up the Wheeler Track and off on side tracks to the top of the Pruden Pass Bluffs lookout (for a second break)
• down double tracks, single tracks, and off-trail to Pruden Pass parking
• a scenic route
• ticks will be out
• the route can be a bit challenging for some

• Registration to be opened on May 21(am)
• We found a second leader (thanks, John) so I have opened some more spaces – 2 groups
• but is still subject to weather
