Description

We will begin at the Margaret Falls parking lot across from Herald Provincial Park.  After visiting the falls we will hike above the falls to the Reinecker Creek Gorge and on through the Reinecker Creek trail system.  Much of this trail will travel through old growth forest.  The entire loop will be about 15 kms.  The trails are well defined, but may have some muddy/snowy sections.

Please bring lunch, water, sunscreen, bug spray and dress for the weather.

Meet at 9 am (leaving by 9:15)  at Market Fresh Foods in Dallas to carpool. $10 per person for carpooling

4 dogs maximum, dogs will need to be leashed.  Please comment if you are brining your dog.

    Just a quick update for all our members We have been experiencing some recent issues with the Kamloops hiking club website, the website team and board are very aware of the frustration that everyone is experiencing. We are also having some issues with posting, signing up and cancelling for individual events. A good website helps enable leaders and hikers to coordinate events.     Greetings all and welcome to a new club year! Board Updates Board Meeting was held on February 19, 2024.  The minutes are posted on the website under Club Info/Meeting Minutes page. 2024/2025 Membership Registration is currently underway.  Membership Renewals started February 1st and new membership started on March 1st.
