Description

On the Trail Details:

This will be a 5-day backpack trip.  Fly into Mt Assiniboine and hike out via Citadel Pass to Sunshine village.  

Aug 15th: Fly into Mt Assiniboine hike Wonder Pass lookout 7+kms round trip

Aug 16th: Nub Peak via Sunburst & Cerulean Lakes 11kms round trip

Aug 17th: Windy Ridge 14.8kms

Day 3: Lake Magog campground to Porcupine 15.5kms

Day 4: Porcupine campground to Sunshine Village 12.5kms

Hiking style is to allow plenty of time to smell the flowers, photograph, and enjoy the vistas.  

Summer 2017 – Mount Shark flight:$175.00 per person, per flight + 5% tax

Just a quick update for all our members We have been experiencing some recent issues with the Kamloops hiking club website, the website team and board are very aware of the frustration that everyone is experiencing. We are also having some issues with posting, signing up and cancelling for individual events. A good website helps enable leaders and hikers to coordinate events. Greetings all and welcome to a new club year! Board Updates Board Meeting was held on February 19, 2024.  The minutes are posted on the website under Club Info/Meeting Minutes page. 2024/2025 Membership Registration is currently underway.  Membership Renewals started February 1st and new membership started on March 1st.
