Description
An all-day hike to Mt. Kerr and back
- an early morning start to carpool
- 2 hours to the trailhead (Jesmond Road)
- the final road section requires a high clearance vehicle
- hike up the Mt. Bowman trail, then over Wild Horse Ridge to Mt. Kerr and back (22 km)
- bring a headlamp just in case since it is a long route
- hydration will be important too; we will carry a filter for group use
- the last section involves some scrambling
- participants can wait at the upper ridge for the summit-scramblers to return, if desired
- lunch along the way
- We will do a water drop part way along the trail.
- all participants must be well-prepared and fit enough to do this one; the leader reserves the right to limit registration, if required
- we will reschedule if the weather is not suitable
- I will start with a group size of 8 since we will have two high-clearance vehicles, but if we get a third vehicle, we can bring along as many as 12

*Since the hike is too hard for most hikers, I will not be enabling self-registration; contact me by email if you would like to participate.
