Description
We will drive to Dewdrop trailhead and hike up the Dewdrop trail beyond the second lookout to the trail junction half way along the ridge where it joins the downward trail. Some really neat rock formations and caves along the latter part of the ridge hike. We will come back the same way to save time on car shuttling.
This is a steep ridge hike with some loose sections so good hiking boots and poles are essential. Several viewpoints on the way for breaks but most of the hike is one big viewpoint!
If the weather is not conducive to ridge hiking we will go up to Battle Bluff and hike a loop around the lower hills.
