My idea is to meet at the Brock shop, and drive up the Red Lake road to the “Pimple”. Here we will discuss picture composition F- stops and as the sun sets behind us we will endeavor to obtain the perfect picture when the lighting is the best. Don’t forget your tripod.

The temperature will be rapidly dropping as night approaches. Also pack your head-light or bring a flashlight. A thermos with a hot beverage is suggested.

We will car pool so have $3 for the driver.

This hike is weather sensitive and if it is raining or too windy, it may be cancelled.

The “pimple” is just to the west of Tranquille Creek and about 18oo feet higher than the creek. It has a wonderful view of Kamloops and other Tranquille valley land/rock formations.
