Description
We will be starting near the mouth of Adams River following the Phil Rexin Trail west to our destination at the Adams River Gorge and returning along the same route. We know the route well but have not done it on snowshoes. The trail is mostly flat with a couple of small short hills. If trail breaking is required then the rating will be easy to moderate. Much of the trail follows the scenic edge of the Adams River with occasional loops into the forest – bring camera!
Those driving from Kamloops will meet at Market Fresh Foods at 9:00 AM. If carpooling, please donate $10.00 to driver.
2nd meetup spot will be at the Skwlax Centre/Race Trac gas station at 10:00 at 440 Skwlax-Anglemont Rd (gas station on right hand side of road just as you cross over the Squilax bridge. Leaders Ed and Lois Hunter will be waiting for the group at this spot.
