Description
A hike past a number of high country lakes in late spring
- a route found by exploration and now shared with KHC
- carpool to the trailhead (high clearance)
- hike on old double tracks and routes past a series of lakes in a loop
- it may be buggy so come prepared; we may see some mud too
- we will stay together because there are no marked trails and it would be easy to become lost or to encounter wildlife
- a hike in high country forest, some logged areas, past some marshy areas, around some mud holes, up and down hills, and possibly a bit of bushwhacking
- lunch at a viewpoint
