Description
A snowshoe off-trail in the Upper Grasslands and forests south of McQueen Lake – a wwww@Feb.3 event
- much of the route will be setting tracks
- 2.5 – 3 hours on the trails
- lunch along the route; bring something to sit on
- a snowshoe in the upper grasslands with some trail breaking to do
- dress for the conditions
- off trail conditions may not be suitable for novice snowshoers
- there are some hills to climb along the route too so good snowshoes are recommended
- we will not be on McQueen Lake property
- we will snowshoe together and follow the same route (parallel tracks okay); “doing your own thing” increases my stress level and also fragments the group so please don’t join us for this event if this is your style
