Description
An evening workshop for those interested in snowshoeing
- This date is now booked
- an intro for those wanting to get into snowshoeing but also an update for those who have snowshoed before
- a discussion of gear, clothing, accessories, and what to bring on the trails
- where to view a map of snowshoe routes/trails for participants and a discussion of the best spots for each kind of snowshoeing
- an overview of the kinds of snowshoe events KHC offers
- held at the Sports Council Office in Cunliffe House on the corner of 3rd and Lorne
- because of the room size, the workshop will be limited to 24 people and late comers may have to stand
- we will soon have the new Tourism Kamloops Snowshoe Map to share (which I drafted)
- members get first right to register/attend the session but if it does not fill, Guests are also welcome (at a reduced $2 fee)
