Description

We will start on the Valleyview Interpretive Trail connecting the Morrissey Ridge Trail at he base of Morrissey Mountain. These are the easiest trails at Sunpeaks, travelling over parts of the golf course and through the forest. The trails at Sunpeaks are usually well used and stomped in. This is a loop trail of approx. 4 to 6 km.

Snowshoe pass is $5.00 and are available at the Daylodge.

I will meet everyone at Parking Lot 5 Sunpeaks for 11am. (I will be at Sunpeaks for 8:30 am if anyone would like to travel with me.)

Suggested carpooling: Meet at the Paul Lake Huskey for 10am, leave by 10:15 am.

    Just a quick update for all our members We have been experiencing some recent issues with the Kamloops hiking club website, the website team and board are very aware of the frustration that everyone is experiencing. We are also having some issues with posting, signing up and cancelling for individual events. A good website helps enable leaders and hikers to coordinate events.     Greetings all and welcome to a new club year! Board Updates Board Meeting was held on February 19, 2024.  The minutes are posted on the website under Club Info/Meeting Minutes page. 2024/2025 Membership Registration is currently underway.  Membership Renewals started February 1st and new membership started on March 1st.
