Description
REVISED
A hike to the top of Sunrise Mountain and some additional hills of the area
- a steep route to the top of Sunrise Mountain requiring core fitness
- participants must stay together since the route is not obvious
- a new route in the upper hills after lunch, taking in several viewpoints, working our way over to the end of Pratt Road, a one-way hike
- we will shuttle a vehicle so that drivers can pick up drivers
- some trail marking to be done along the way, requiring short waits (you can help too)
- lunch on top
- some off-trail sections
- tick season and bear season
- good boots and hiking poles recommended
- Participants must be well-prepared, as noted in KHC Guidelines and Expectations; leaders retain the right to refuse registration from anyone who is not in compliance with the listed expectations (please read)
