Description
- Date changed to Sunday, July 24th due to weather conditions on Wednesday
- Come join us for an afternoon of hiking up to Trophy Mountain Meadows and the Plateau of Lakes
- Approximately 10 – 12 km easy to moderate hike at an easy to moderate pace
- Lots of time for photos
- Approximately 4 hrs on the trail including a leisurely stop for lunch
- Home no later than 5 pm
- Meet at 8:30 am at the Paul Lake Road meetup location
- Approximately $10 for drivers if you choose to carpool depending on how many in a vehicle
- Bring all your hiking essentials, bug spray, sunscreen, water, snacks, lunch and your camera
- Long pants and shirt, mosquito net and hat recommended
- The bugs are bad at this time of year, but the flowers will be beautiful
- Dip in one of the lakes if desired
- Possible ice cream or dinner stop on the way home

The weather forecast is looking dismal for tomorrow. If the forecast continues by the early morning, I will reschedule this hike for Sunday, July 24th.
Unfortunately the weather forecast has not improved enough to hike Trophy Meadows today. This hike will be rescheduled for Sunday, July 24th.
If anyone is interested in another hike here in Kamloops, we can meet at the same time. Please offer suggestions and I will post it.
We could still meet on Mount Paul way & hike @ Paul Lake to Gibraltar Rock or Mount Embleton or……
