Description
The Baldy Mountain hike has been replaced by the West Opax hike due to rainy conditions and wet mountain roads.
The meet-up time is now 9:00 at the Lac du Bois meet-up spot at 9:00. Bring rain gear, just in case.

A hike from Dunn Lake to the top of Baldy Mountain on a Fire Lookout 4×4 Road
- drive to Dunn Lake
- drive up the FSR (high clearance) to the old gold mine and park
- hike to the top at 2243 m (7330 feet)
- elevation gain – tbd
- distance est. 12 km
- lunch on top, then hike down
- good views from the top
