Trip Report

We continue to have incredible KHC trips even with the challenges of park closures and smoky skies. Thank you to all the K-country adventure participants who went through some amazing hikes and a few challenges!! Great group, lots of fun. We saw several bears, sheep, goats, rabbits, whiskeyjacks and some lovely flowers. There were some participants, and they know who they are, who did some amazing first time stuff with no complaints with a smile on their face. We could certainly have K-country adventures 2, 3, 4, et al. as there are so many hikes and great areas in that part of the world. We have to be adaptable to the changing conditions these days but there is a lot out there if you are.  (S.Powell)

Retired now, I get into the outdoors most days to hike, paddle, camp, snowshoe, or explore. Some of my activities involve more difficult routes, but most are suitable for moderately fit people too. Since I am out several times a week, I post one (or two) event(s) each week and I invite a small group of like-minded people to join me. Kamloops Trails
