Some short news items:

  • FMCBC’s February E-news
  • Membership cards are bring printed and will be mailed out to members soon.
  • Please make sure that your mailing address is current (the same applies to your email and telephone number).
  • Members are eligible for retailer discounts.   See the KHC Supporters Page for details.
  • Brand new events that have just be published and enabled for registration can now be displayed on the left sidebar, just below the comments widget.   This is a new feature for hike leaders so it will be subject to a learning curve for a while, but once it is universally implemented, it will be a quick way to check for new events.
  • Everyone is invited to join us at our Annual General Meeting and Potluck Dinner on March 24.

Retired now, I get into the outdoors most days to hike, paddle, camp, snowshoe, or explore. Some of my activities involve more difficult routes, but most are suitable for moderately fit people too.
